An outstanding gig - and they played Wickerman! (Phil)
This was the 4th time I've seen Pulp and was
easily the best! Jarvis and the gang were totally on it from the start. Seeing
Pulp is like going round an old relatives house, you may not have been there for
a while, but the same furniture and paintings are on show. Its cozy. The set was
great, I loved the new stuff, like Minnie and Sunrise was brilliant, The Birds
in Your Garden was also good. I liked the mix between old and new songs,
especially Joyriders which I haven't seen them do before. I also really enjoyed
Babies and the stuff from Different Class. I'm really glad I went! Also I met
this girl, Sarah from Kent, I think I've lost her email address, so please contact
me! Cheers for a great night! (Mark)
I went to the Thursday gig at Brixton
and had a brilliant night. Pulp were great, good mix of stuff across the years,
Jarvis being, well...Jarvis, and (best of all) because I got a front
row centre of circle seat I was actually able to see everything. (This is no
mean feat as I'm only 4' 6" and couldn't even see the screens at Reading
2000!). The party on types to the left aisle were having a riot, I got funny
looks as I stood up to get into the groove (as Madge would say) but so what. A
memorable night, thanks guys. (Angie)
