Pulp were absolutely fab in Cambridge. Credit to The Fat Truckers though, we arrived a bit late and only caught the last two songs (one of which was the lyrical genius of Teenage Daughter) which was a shame as I would have liked to have heard some of their other stuff.
The band were on top form, as was Jarvis whose conversation with the drunk bloke in the front row were the funniest thing all night. New songs sound great and I especially enjoyed Weeds, Minnie and especially Bad Cover Version (although I was hoping they'd play Wickerman). I was especially impressed with the 'interesting' choice of videos used for the backdrop.
Best song all night though was F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E., I'm not normally too enamoured hearing this on the album but live the energy absolutely blew me away, even if the stage lights did shine directly into our eyes because we were at the back. Laughing Boy (easily their best B-side, with the possible exception of Seconds), The Fear, This is Hardcore and Babies were also very welcome additions although I was pulling for Party Hard. Still, the quality of the other songs meant I didn't leave disappointed at all. In fact it was a great gig. Let's hope they come back to Cambridge soon! (Nick Gates)

Just wanted to report back on the gig in Cambridge last Tuesday. It was superb - not that I've ever known a Pulp gig to be anything but! It was lovely to see them at the Corn Exchange, the last time they played there - in 1995 - I tried to get tickets but it was too late by the time I found out. It's a really nice, smallish venue and we were right near the front on the far left. Of course if I'd had my way we would have got tickets for Brixton as well, but that would've been greedy. Well congratulations to the band, thanks for everything (Lynn Langdown)

The atmosphere was fantastic, it was by far my fave Pulp gig. I think the new songs are great, especially Bad Cover Version. The best old song of the night had to be Laughing Boy. I had a night I will never forget (Sharon Barrs)
