Cardiff International Arena, 30 November

I got to see Pulp in Cardiff due to the weirdest circumstances and the best timing ever. I didn't have enough money for a ticket so I was hanging around town all day looking for famous people to beg for tickets, the only one I saw was the Eels drummer but I was afraid to go up to him because I would have had to ask "Are you Butch?", and I could get locked away for that. Anyway, I bumped into a friend of mine's brother who asked me if I wanted to come with him to interview Tiger. I said yes and we made our way to the Arena. We got through security and met with Dan the singer and their tour manager...as we were leaving he asked "Are you both coming tonight?"...I put on my saddest face and said, "No, I am poor, I can't afford to", and he put me on the Tiger guest list! My first blag! I enjoyed the show even more because it was free, and particularly liked the avant garde opening to Disco 2000, during which I tried to get Mark's attention by staring at him - think I quite scared him."
