Yeah!, the Parisians went potty, all round good show. Went to see Hawley do an in-store gig at FNAC, miraculously he only swore once.....As for the Stripes I thought they were ok, a bit basic, yet new sounding but they almost seemed to be making it up as they went along.  About 30 minutes was enough. (Nick Banks)

It was a brilliant but short show because of the following concert of the festival in an other place just after Pulp. How frustrating it was, they stopped just when all the crowd become crazy, we've just had only one song in bonus (rappel in French) and they've not played all the songs of the last album: "The Trees" haven't been performed for example but we've been delighted with old songs like "Underwear" or "F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E" that drove the audience mad. They played "Live Bed Show" too which was the first of the old songs they've played. The sound was not very clear and the version of "This is Hardcore" was not very good for that reason. But Jarvis was perfect. Yes it was too short. (Georges Nicol)

I really enjoyed the concert at La Cigale (unfortunately a bit short). Really better than the two  I saw last summer (Benicassim and St-Malo). Pulp seemed happy to be there, back to Paris after such a long time. I think I had better speak French, my English is so bad !

Okay, it's easier to write in your own language as I do - and the audience really appreciated the efforts Jarvis made to speak French. Candida was better looking than ever, really fit and slim, wearing the same long silver skirt I already saw this summer. And Steve smiled a lot, which is rare enough to be noted. A great evening, I can tell! (Camille Noiray)
