Siren Suite, Sunday 9th September 2001, Montague Square, London
The final
Siren Suite Southwark. Jarvis, Candida, Mark and ex Pulp Person Anthony
Genn performed Roadkill and Birds in Your Garden with Phillip Shepperd, who
plays electric cello on the album.
Pulp People Giles (who took the photo, left) and Yvette went down: "Thanks for getting back to us about the Siren Suite thing - Yvette and I made our way down to London not knowing what we were in for, but we had a fantastic time and the whole day was really funny! The stage was on the top of some steps outside Southwark cathedral (overlooking the Thames) The sound system was built in the doors of this American sports car (which had a turntable in the boot) and the whole thing was really really random and muso like - I'm surprised Jarvis even managed to rope Candida and Mark into it! They played Roadkill & Birds as expected."
