The Hole In The Road

Can't remember now when they filled this in...it was because of the trams. Jarvis always wondered what happened to the fish - there was a fishtank down there you see, as well as escalators to shops and a few benches and a guy selling The Sheffield Star. OK, so it always smelled of revolting, but it had a certain charm and it was very sad when it disappeared....The view through the hole is the High Street.
